The Flawed Assumption
Children enter the education process with a firm understanding of how a quality education and the acquisition of information, lead to future finances ... right? Ask most educators and they may say (after a pause, and a moment to think about it) "I'm not sure that's true."
The Institute for Student Empowerment, set out to answer that question. Do students connect a quality education and the acquisition/implementation of information, to their future financial well-being? The results of our preliminary study may alarm you.

"Mere Scraps of Paper"
That's how artist, Barton Lidice Benes, referred to paper money. "Money has no meaning beyond its concrete existence; it is merely another object with certain physical properties. The human mind insists otherwise. The mind confers real value and potent psychological meanings, a surrogate for mortal anxieties and yearnings that lie deep and unexpressed in everyone."
In Wes Hall's book, "You Are the Money!" Hall seeks to expose the myth, pertaining to money that, in his opinion, shackles the minds of so many Americans. Hall attempts to move the reader beyond the "External" pursuit of wealth, and help them understand, how the internal development of natural gifts and talents lead to the "Attraction" of wealth. "Self-Development equals wealth-development," says Hall. Hall believes, money is a by-product of power, and "Authentic" power comes as a result of self-mastery.
Hall first published "You Are the Money" in 1999, and created his revised version in 2007. He was one of the first to talk about the subject of "Wealth Attraction." Before there was, "The Secret," there was "You Are the Money." "I have worked on this subject for more than a decade, and I believe it to be one of the most transformative elements in the universe," says Hall.
